I once believed, One day, You and I would share a bond, That time has come and gone. All hope died, The girl returned, Foolish of me to conceive, We’d achieve a relationship. Why I always lay my heart out, Time after time? When each time, Trampled it becomes. I blame you for nothing, Emotions don’t cease, Though I wish they did, I won’t try, Forcing the heart to love, Never works Only falls in love. I realize Your heart desires me not My love shall never end, Waiting, Seems my only choice. Hurt reigns Pain exists I ignore, Still love and live my life. I may find another, But you occupy forever, A place in my heart. No matter where I travel or who I meet, You always possess that spot, If your heart decides to change Mine will love you back, Until that time, I leave things unchanged, Fate determines destiny, I hold no power . I wish you the best, Remember, You own a spot, Nothing will replace you. |
