Something isn't right here
all hope is lost now
here I am
alone
and there you are
your smile so bright
your eyes shining
I turn away
before the first tear falls.

Darkness engulfs my soul
lonliness is creeping in
I can't stop it
I don't want to fight it
the will to live is fading
and embracing death
is so close I can taste it.

Part of me wanted
you to notice me again
part of me believed
you could save me
but I'm merely invisible
a ghost
of friendships past.

You could have tried harder
I needed you so much
you were never there
Where were you that night
when my world fell apart?
While you were safe
in his arms
I was dieing inside.

And now I bleed these tears
because I can never get you back
you're not the same person
that I used to know
I will find no help here
why do I continue seeking
when inside I know the truth?

Love has taken you over
he's made you forget
about who you used to be
He's erased your memory
he's taken away my happiness
and this jealousy is eating me away.

My best friend is gone
I have no one
I am truly alone
and maybe it's meant to be this way...
But tell me God,
what did I do to deserve this?

I know how you feel. My best friend lives with her b/f and works at the same place as him... all her free time is spent with him. She just ditched all of her old friends, can't find time to spend with her friends... only him. Anyway, that was a good poem. I hope to hear more from you and welcome to Passions. Good luck.

Nice first post, welcome to pip. I've felt this way before and it really stinks, my bestfriend and her bf broke up in august so I'm not feeling this way anymore but I definitely understand what your going through
