Her hair outshines the sun Yet she hides it Emerald eyes like stars new hung Yet she hides them Secrets entrenched in cloth Unseen by man, yet held aloft Beauty may have tarried here Yet only viewed in the mirror Am I beautiful she queries me? But how to answer how to fathom I am the first I am Adam I reach out and take her hand Are you pretty as the sky? Beautiful still as you sleeping lye You are more dazzling than the sun Hiding behind the moon for fun In beauty wreathed. In perfection free. Yet no one else can see but me |

Good job on this poem. I thought you wrote it well -j- Look at the sun and burn your eyes. You'll be fine in the end. |

thanks much, I gave her a copy today it was rather interesting she asked me to write a poem for her for xmas about 2 seconds before I handed it to her she smiled and shivered as she embraced me. I think I could end up loveing this one. Neither night nor day can give me purchase only purged dust on earth can avenge the worthless. |
