When you push her around

Do you smile like maniac
When you see her tears fall
Does it make you just laugh
When she hits the wall

Because I’ve seen her pain
And it’s cutting, for sure
But I’ve also seen your face
When she walks out the door

I know that you love her
However mistaken
Why do you leave her so
Alone and shaken

Do you get some power
When she begs you to quit
Does it make you serene
When she throws a fit

Because I’ve seen her scream
And it’s heartbreaking, that’s true
But I’ve seen you depressed
When she tries to leave you

I know that you love her
However mistaken
But if you don’t right your wrongs
She’ll leave you alone and shaken

An ode to my best friend, Byron
You know the difference between right and wrong
So prove it to her

I like this one alot, it kindda reminds me of my friends prob w/ her b/f. I'm sorry about your friend.

this kind of reminds me of the song face down by red jumpsuit aparatus, especially the first stanza

Hey,
this poem hits home for me because that happened to my mom a lot. She is like crazy. any how. i really like this because it is real. no fake about it. thanks for writting it.

Great poem but the first two lines are identical to Red Jumpsuit Apparatus's song- Face Down you may want to change that.
