he whole “invisibility thing”… Yeah I’m done with it I’m someone I should be recognized as someone not as a target for abuse for slander so that other people feel better about themselves I will be recogized as a person whose morals are good but does what she wants not always what she should I’m just a girl just someone who likes to be seen as someone who understands who they are and where they stand I don’t want to be what they call cool I want to be me and- Ya know what?- maybe do well in school if they don’t like that if they think it’s uncool I really don’t care let them be the fool they can have their hoochie tops hidden beer cans and energy soda pops and I’ll have my individuality my artistry and what makes me “me” Live with it! I don’t want to be anybody else Stop trying to make me “you” and let me be “me” |

they are jealous, or afraid of you... that is why they want you to conform, or to be like them...if you do what they do...then what they are doing can't be "that" bad, right? It's called misery loves company...  enjoyed your write  |

Hey pen&paper, Awesome poem! Reminds me a lot of a rap, but I'm listening to rap right now so could that be something? I liked this one a lot- The general subject was very good- I liked how it flows so well. "I’m just a girl just someone who likes to be seen as someone who understands who they are and where they stand" I loved this part especially, maybe it's cause I wish I felt like this? lol Great job and thanks for sharing! I loved this. It expresses the truth and what everyone should take a stand for.. to be themselves! great job ~Heather~ Desire nothing except desirelessness. Hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes. |
