tired eyes searching for yours throughout those bright, bright lights we don’t know who we are tonight we don’t know who we can be if you just let this feel right any chances any second chances would be nice for a change let me know this is more, this is more aside from those mind games that i’m done playing i’m so over those nights of faith and trust and beautiful love we could have made it anywhere take me, break me my feelings would still remain the same electric currents flowing throughout my veins whisper to me what makes you feel alive in times like these, all i can do is try yeah, all i can do is try and try and try for you to understand why i’m still standing here, open and bruised still believing in you, always believing i can’t stop believing in faith and trust and beautiful love that you confessed to me so many times before and i’m dancing all around all over this floor with all these people closing in and you’re swaying next to me, i can always hear you breathing heavy and steady and everything in between please tell me what you mean, when you say things like these aren’t as they seem because all i felt was you and me connected, and i never looked away i never decided to give up on this fight we don’t know who we are tonight we don’t know who we can be if you just let this feel right any chances any second chances would be nice for a change i’ll be waiting here, i’ll be waiting till you decide to call out my name i’ll be waiting here, i’ll be waiting my feelings would still remain the same electric currents flowing throughout my veins whisper to me what makes you feel alive in times like these, all i can do is try try and try and try… |
