Diamonds gleem brilliantly
Gold has the luster of twenty suns
Pearls smooth and shine brightly
For these are nothing to shun

Ruby's how beautiful
With the colors of rose
A gift how thoughful
But with this, love does show?

This is the question,I bring to you
Rubys, Emerald, Diamond, o so bright
Red, green, or even blue
For this is my delight?
No gift greater than you

Hey ArtofMark,

Awesome poem! I loved the comparisons between jewels and a person. It was very interesting. Because jewels are so beautiful and comparing them to people is a compliment in it's own? I'm not sure what I'm talking about, it's early, forgive me for babbling.

What i'm trying to say is I enjoyed your poem a lot. It was a beautiful read.

I have to agree with Stargal,
Your poem was very nice written. It was very good of comparing jewels to a person. I love your poem. I hope to see more of them in the future.
