Doors opening slowly, a full moon. Please, please don't come this soon. I didn't ask for this. I see the glowing of his eyes, please please don't make me cry. Take the drip and do a flip, because that's all your gonna get. I've turned away once from the Man up above, The one that sent down a beautiful white dove. Now I won't turn away again. 'Cause I asked for a whole new life. I guess it already begone. Wait a minute let me close my eyes and say a couple words... This new life will never be gone! But sorry anti-God, but He just won!!!! Well, I'm not sure if I understood all of this, but what I did understand I liked. "I've turned away once from the Man up above, The one that sent down a beautiful white dove. Now I won't turn away again. " This part I really liked, the comparison of a dove, talking about the man upstairs and how "you" won't turn away again makes this, to me, a spectacular, umm... part of the poem? I’m not quite sure I understand the anti-god part though, could you explain? Or, I think I do, but I just want to make sure what I’m thinking is what you are talking about… Thanks for sharing, I look forward to reading more by you in the near future ![]() @-->--- |

As a poet, i would have to say that I envy your feeling that you put into your work. I loved the dove comparason, it made me relise that you really feel strongly about the entire piece. ~Tempest~ This is the only life you have, so live it to be remembered |

well stargirl, the anti-God part is talking about the Devil. That's what The poem is mostly talking about. It was me that turned away from God once, and then and the Devil winning. But at the end I turned back to God. The reason the title is b/c it was the Devil and God fighting to get me. I don't know if I explained the answer that you really wanted. And thank you for actually responding you guys. |

Humm... That's what I thought, but you never know, because to some people the anti-god would be other people, I suppose it could go both ways... No, Thank YOU for actually replying to my reply, I know at times I sound really stupid when I ask questions and people don't bother to reply, it's nice to know that you did though. Thanks a bunch ![]() @-->--- |
