No real love around me simply infatuation and urges for pleasure so I write to feel wanted I write to feel there once upon a time I'd use my efforts to write for her long ago like it was just before yesterday however now she's gone gone because she's moved on moved on because she saw nothing here for her so there's no real love for me simply old tall tales to remember that end with me wanting to forget ... and I write still young with an aged soul struggling to keep pace with a wise mind tarnished with a flacid heart but it'll be ok ... as long as I write my words fill my voids leaving me artificially satiated until the echo of my words fade along with my health along with my breath then I lose myself my identity, my sorrows, my joys in between letters, proses, stanzas out of my dreams under the stars I'll never reach above those gone due to a broken heart the mirror catches my reflection. I rise from my pained moments, pen in hand a brand new outlook, solely for you the one I haven't found the one to which I'm forever bound my weakness, my strength, my gift, my love |

I can relate to this so much.. especially the first half.. this was very deep and full of emotions. It carried of a sense of melancholy-hope(if that makes any sense at all to you?) but truly a wonderful poem I loved it. ~heather~ Desire nothing except desirelessness. Hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes. |

"No real love around me simply infatuation and urges for pleasure so I write to feel wanted I write to feel there" I enjoyed this part of the poem a lot, for some reason this particular spot stuck out to me most. Maybe, because there is so much truthfulness in so little lines... Or, because I can relate so well to all of the lines! Especially the writing, writing to feel wanted. That's something I can understand... This poem was amazing to me. I like how you can use words that are not hard to understand but make the poem appear complex. Make it so it keeps a readers interest. I think you are very talented in that respect... Thanks a bunch for sharing ![]() @-->--- |
