World stands still as i hurdle endless obstacles The strength to stand but never so fallen as the wind rushes across my skin wrapping all sound to a dull whistle to the silence in my heart Head hasn't stopped rushing for days leaving me torn in a rift standing on a piece of thought in a river of confusion Hope and faith in love are my paddles with a smile on my face hiding the pain as always blundering blindly walking away from everything i've become outstretched for myself to keep from sliding through the cracks to prevent becoming lost in all the faces Life is a torment and torment an enigma. So burn the shackles of slavery and let love run free |
