Wondering, after all this, what it will all be like?
Will I regret, or be sorry, now, it just seems so right
Here with all my friends, while in summer months I’ll be gone
I look around, as tears may fall, the sun rises, break of dawn
In a year, in two, who will we be?
How much will we change? Will I know them anymore?
This hurt, this pain these tears, what are they for
Even I don’t know, by then will I still be me?
Or will I have to be different who will I become
What is scary is I don’t even know, I only have memories of before memories, that send chills, my mind goes numb
Of those times however much I want to I won’t ever forget
Always to be haunted by remembering the words I said but never meant
Who I was then, who I am now, I don’t wish to go back
I can’t see how I can stop it, when the ones then I needed in a year I’ll lack
Everyone I know, everyone I knew the school I love. They all open up to a silent fear,
That when I come home, none of it will still be here
for others if not for myself
Even if its still a hope will I be wanted remembered still liked I wonder

this piece is very well thought out and you said alot of meaningfull things in it. A job very well done.

I agree with tempest on this being thought out rather well.

Personally I really like this part,

I loved how you phrased that you only have memories of before memories, I thought that was rather neat…

So far there hasn’t been one poem of yours that I have read which I haven’t liked yet, you have some crazyyyy talent there! I hope you keep writing and posting for I will be looking for more in the near future
