I think I’m healing over
But after what I’ve been through
I’m not really sure,
But I don’t think I want to

I think I’ve shown you
That we could be
I know you want that
But what you don’t want is me

I don’t understand
But I guess that’s okay
I’ll be fine without you
I started healing today

Though the scars might go,
They’re gonna be deep
I can tell you right now
That promise I’ll keep

I don’t want to heal over
Even after all that pain
Especially when I heard
You don’t feel that way

I’d rather keep the scars
So I can prove to you
That no matter what
To you I’d stay true

I don’t want to heal over
I’ve been through so much
I don’t want to forget
That occasional touch
That I’ve come to provoke
The playful insult
The occasional joke

How I shy and blush
Every time you come near
That  look in your eyes
That I find so dear

I don’t want to forget
But it seems that I must
I don’t want to forget
Although you I trust

Remember our friendship
Though it became nothing more
Has run the distance
And will last forevermore

You had some really good lines in this one; "I don’t want to forget That occasional touch." Nice.
