As we lay, hand in hand Thoughts running through our heads What will happen when it ends Or will it just begin again You pack your bags Its the early train You leave at first days light Afraid of what will become of you And you selfless sacrifice Will it help Will it hinder Will it leave you lying dead Or will you be back forever for me In our warm bed The tears slowly run down my face As you silently step aboard I know our sacrifice for them Will bring us closer to our lord Wondering are our prayers in vain As you fight for us this war We try to hide away our pain but...our hearts are truely sore Please dear love, Come back to us We need you ever more |
