Two friends sit and talk
about their childhood dreams,
and how they loved to goof around,
only yesterday it seems.

Talking about the times,
of cooties and love bugs.
Times when they did wrong,
and only anwered with shoulder shrugs.

Then everything leads up
to where they're standing now,
and trying to explain life,
if only they knew how.

They wished they were little again,
one boy, one girl, two lollipops,
chinese checkers, friendship rings,
jumpropes and hopscotch.

A smile, a tear,
a hug, a stare,
knowing that your dearest friend,
will always be there.

Two friends sit and talk,
about everything in life they adore,
then share one eyelocked stare,
and suddenly become more.
