Clinging to her shirt
I beg her not to leave
Running after the car
Wishing it to be a dream

Breathlessly I give up
Tears running down my face
Sitting on the side of the road
I pray for God's secure embrace

Knowing she's gone forever
I just can't believe
Pondering upon the many things
She has helped me achieve

Walking back home
I begin to smile
Knowing she'll be back to vist
It just might be awhile

: )

haha i know its weird...but i wrote it for my English teacher...I got REALLY close to her and she just moved.  But the stuff in the poem didnt relly happen.

Lol... I was going to say were you really holding onto her shirt?!?!

Welcome back bekahlekah45 long time no see. Either that or it's just i've been gone for so long i haven't seen anything?!?!

Awesome write though, i'm not sure i would rank this in your top tens on my list, but it made me smile after reading your note.

Sorry to hear your teacher moved away, but like the poem says she can always come back and visit you...

Great job on this one, it was kind of sad, but very cute too. I hope to see more from you in the near future
