I love you with all my heart
But I hate you even more
Why do I do this to myself
I just can't take it anymore

I try so hard to make you want me
But it's me who alwayas gets hurt
But I keep trying again and again
You'd think by now I would have learned

Ill tell myself I dont care
Ill keep trying to convince myself
But everytime I let you back in
And it always ends the same

You leave for days, weeks, months
And I never hear from you
Why dont you care about me
Why dont you ever call

When we do finally talk
Its because you want something
And I'm the stupid one
Because I always say yes

I try so hard but you never see
Or maybe you just dont care
I dont even know if you ever did
But there is one thing I know

You always leave

Hey, I read both your poems and both were excellent, though I feel stronger about this one...If this poem is about you, then honestly think of all the girls who get beat by their husband and they always go back to them... Don't you think that’s crazy??? Well you’re doing the same thing (sorry for being so harsh). If it's loneliness you fear, find a really close friend that you can talk to about everything, this will ease the pain.

This peom was actually not about a guy, although that is mostly how is is interpretted. I actually wrote it a few years ago about someone in my family.

Wow. I've been reading your poems and they are amazing. This poem is excellent. It reads completely differently though when your talking about someone in your family. It's a sad poem but written very well. The rhyming is perfect. Well done. Can't wait to read more.

i think i know where you're coming from about the family thing. and i wish i didn't.

great poem, not so much the flow, but how you wrote it perfectly expressing your feelings.
