~This a poem I wrote about a year so more ago and it's one of mine that are totally different from how I usually write.. hope you enjoy and understand. Tell me what you think.~ Staring at this blank page, a million words in my head, comtemplating what to write, all things unsaid... who followed and who lead. Keyboard ready, to put a thought onto this paper, maybe I'll catch up, with the words a little later. Pictures in my mind, telling me the world is on hold, making a quick shiver, my fingers stand cold. Time used as a decoy to get away, striving to make a better yesterday, life is dead... in a way. Letters all locked together, hidin' from a world of forever, tearing at these walls... never say never. Sitting here, words in my mind unsteady, I haven't written anything... Though my words are here already. -Heather written 2005 Desire nothing except desirelessness. Hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes. Want nothing & you will have everything. |

I liked the opening stanza when you said, "Staring at this blank page, a million words in my head, comtemplating what to write, all things unsaid... who followed and who lead" because it describes me sometimes when I'm scared to act on my impulses and say/do what I really want to (that is if you interpret the page as life). But anyways really liked how it put into words how people think sometimes. ^_- Jill S. |

Junebug.. this poem is like explaining throughout out the whole thing that i don't know what to write.. I don't know what to say.. time is used as a decoy.. I'm stalling from putting my thoughts down.. Life is dead.. like no emotions are being put down or anything... then the end it says that I haven't written anything (like I haven't wrote how I feel about anything) but my words are here already (I didn't mean to write what I did sort of.. like I didn't explain how I felt about anything but I ended up with this poem) hope I helped.. ~Heather Desire nothing except desirelessness. Hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes. |

Heather, I really liked this...it is different from anything I've read from you. I liked the message it sends, about how sometimes, when trying to write, thoughts race, and instead of a steady stream written down on paper, you have all of your thoughts speaking for themselves inside your head. It's a cool idea, and I liked the flow for most of the poem. Well Done, <3kerR When I'm good, I'm very good. But when I'm bad I'm better. |
