Shot for shot spun in confusion dot to dot bond chemical fusion unable to hide from the slide show of nightmares flashing in my head draped in torn and tattered rags no soles upon my feet No pedestal to stand on Melancholy raindrops in pools of plighted liquid flesh gnawed to white bone as copasetic moments tick away to noncomplacency To spinning sinning over winning morality slips away drawn in like a heroin needle to be injected everyday Soapbox jerked from underneath face first to join the ground careening to vivid dreaming silent screaming vocal chords mangled outstreched limbs uncompassionately trampled by the hordes Confusing musing abusing melancholy drops again caged beasts inside my brain feed the magic of my pen 5-11-06 Life is a torment and torment an enigma. So burn the shackles of slavery and let love run free |
