I leave one place to be in another yet somehow I'm still stuck I only think of what I'm leaving behind and I guess it's just my luck One place is always lacking and the other will always be too I look forward but then step back never quite sure of what to do I don't know what I am running from and I don't know where this will lead I don't know what I am running to or what it is I think I need So then I try to just stand still but everything spins around me I close my eyes and tune it out but lost I continue to be If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. |

I liked this very much.. though I feel like it started strong and then went down at the end.. the ending could have been a little stronger with a little bit more "sting" if you know what I mean.. it's like the thing that when you read it it makes you want to cry and say awww. and I loved and OMG! all at one time.. I believe that this poem was leading up to that "sting" but it just didn't happend. but this is JMHO really.. others' may think differently.. I loved your choice of words.. Maybe I'll here more out of you more often.. ~Heather Desire nothing except desirelessness. Hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes. |
