this was the first of two poems written by me to be published here in Australia.

My eyes glance in the mirror
and i pick wat they c.
another girl is in there
and she's starin back at me

she wants to tell me sumthin
but i dont wanna hear it
she's hurt me once too often
i cant let her come near

she tries again to reach me
but you see....
she is my past
and all...
my pain is with her

trapped safely behind
the glass....

this was published in Young Australian Poets 2002.

pretty good. some cool thoughts in there, but to me the whole mirror/image thing has been written about a million times. good job though!!

This was great. Actually I think I read the book it was published in because I am almost certain I read it before. Great job once again.
