"I love you", He said And I knew it was true I slowly turned his way And answered, "I love you too" He took my hand in his And held it close by his side I was sure he was the one And that is no lie He kissed me softly and gently But it held so much love I loved him so dearly He must have been sent from above Thank you Lord, I whispered, For giving him to me I'll cherish him forever And everyone shall see |
