This is dedicated to a friend of mine. I hope you realize who you are first of all, but I hope that you can appreciate it, take it to heart and take a giant step forward…. The games we play are not the same No one wins but you seem to blame The ones you play against for who they are Forget your misconceptions about life so far Not all are as fortunate as you or I That is hard to see through all the lies But one truth surely does exist People care about you and you will be missed Strangers that you have never met Will wish you well and hope for the best But that’s not because of what you say or do It’s because that we do appreciate you A bad hand was dealt to you, there is no doubt But that does not mean you should live without The pleasure and happiness that we all desire Just believe in yourself and that will take you higher This is what I think about the situation at hand You are your own worst enemy as you take a stand On issues that are affecting your life, my dear I know it is hard but you must let go of your fear That fear is haunting you, whatever it may be You are not as inadequate or unfortunate to be The person you are, you have so much to give The pursuit of excellence is how we all must live It is too easy to give in and get stuck in a rut Too easy to blame others for our misfortunes, but Love comes from within that much we know is true Find your own happiness, we are rooting for you. Unorthodox mabey, but I grow on you. |
