Do you remember what love was like? I do not feel those touches anymore. Do you remember the pain he caused you? Why do you keep running back? I never ran from anyone, never will until my dying day. Just because he beat you, doesn't mean I'm not going to beat him. Dying is percieved as being good, I view it as another stage, so take a few more beatings, tell me how you'll feel. Daddy never hit you enough, the beatings weren't too bad, that's what you'd always say, is it cold in that grave? This smile is fake, |

I read this poem and didn't really understand it until the end... so.. I went back and read it again after I knew what you were talking about.. I see that you kind of mixed up your tenses (past tense, present) but other than that.. this was great I can only imagine your pain.. keep it up.. ~Heather Desire nothing except desirelessness. Hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes. |
