...Where were you... Where were you when you realized that you were all alone? And where did you always run to when I needed you the most? I said I would always be there, "Thats a disappointment like everything else?" You took forgranted the fact that I cared, Disappointed only yourself, When did you find your heart? Where where were you when you started to care? It only hurts when you've lost it all, scared at the thought of me not being there, But now you want to talk, All I ever wanted was the truth, Want to work things out now? That was always too much to ask from you, Your timing was always off and now your just a little late, Add the words you wish you said to the demise you helped create, Where were you when I was scared, you had my heart clenched in your hands, Squeezing tighter as I fell, to meet all of your demands, Weakened by your control, making me think that I was wrong, Your faults were only hidden, it's you, it has been all along, I need to be away long enough, to realize I don't need you anymore, You'll always be the same, But you can't hurt me like before, Leave me behind, and Pick up where you left off with someone else, Forget everything we had, forget all the feelings we felt, Let me let you go, Please don't try to bring me down, I think this time I know, what we lost cannot be found, Nothing lasts forever and I'll never owe anything to you, Best friend that never cared? Best friend you never knew, Where were you when I let go, Why can't you do the same, Timing was never our thing, Why don't we end this pain, Waiting for the day to come where we both can finally forget, Waiting to be able to tell you, your my one regret, Throw memories away of all the things we ever knew, Please won't you give up on me, Like I have given up on you.....? |

Hey !! What good ? NMH chillen chillen . SO n-e-way I like ur poem.. It's deep but what does it mean? Does it mean that you've loved someboday and y'all fell apart and now they want you back. I'm jus guessin cuz imma poet myself but i dont think i could come up with something that good .. well gimma a holla sometime !! hope to c more of your work on here. |

Where were you.... Actually, I was in the kitchen making a bologna sandwich...want some?...Sorry for punking your style, Dertah, but it had to be done!  Seriously though, good poem, keep it up. |
