Why do you always
go on at me
you never get off
my back
you always tell me
I'm not trying hard enough
why do you always
go on about that pointless stuff!

I tell you, "I am trying"
and you hit me again
"you're not trying!"
you shout at me
and keep hitting me
repeatidly

I love you
cause you're my dad
but stop telling me
what to do
I am trying
so maybe so should you!
