This goodbye
Is the finale
To the non-existent relationship
We never captured,

Now you add, yet another
Futile, regrettable substance
I shall exploit, until
Eternity subsides

As this moment wanes
The laughter merely fades into an echo,
My sorrows drown
The forged undertones
You so carelessly
Spilt.

And as these droplets
Swell,
My heart ceases to prevail,
For now I sense,
No part of your character
Would ever take a second glance
At the crumpled soul
Left standing before you.

hey i like!
but just as a pointer... if you want your poems read, comment to others' poetry and then wait... sometimes it takes a while for people to get online and read and comment. sometimes i will see poems but keep going and later reply and most ppl dont get online every day...
