I've grown up so much
more than you'll ever know,
what can I say to prove it
what can I do to show.

I have to live with my mistakes
my two biggest regrets,
if I could turn back time
I'd erase the sunsets.

I know you don't believe me
you think I'm filling you with lies,
but you know how people say
you can tell the truth in someone's eyes.

So look deep in mine
and follow the path,
it doesn't take a genius
its not science or math.

Just stare into my eyes
and tell me what you see,
just open up your heart
and have a little faith in me.

I promise this time I'll deserve it
I'll hold it very near,
cause losing it again
is my one true fear

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
