i wake up most nights on;y to hear the sound of your voice penetrating my eardrums tell me... why is it that the sound of your voice causes my soul to lose control? what kind of love allows my heart rate to slow down when you are away but quicken when you are near some nights when i dream, i swear, your voice is all i hear. there isn't a moment that passes that i don't think of you, infact, picturing your smile is what helps me make it through. i dream of us and the way we connected in the past and even in my dream each moment seems better than the last. sometimes, thinking of you keeps me up all night but i can only wonder if you know what that's like. motion-filled photographs are engraved in my brain 20yrs from now, i'll still get goosebumps at the sound of your name. if i closed my eyes right now, i'm sure i'd see your face, oh how i miss your warm embrace. i was addicted to your love, you were my beautiful high, and i was as high as a butterfly that roamed the sky |
