Feeling down, As if I went out of bounds, Felt like a fool, You left me, Without a clue, I made up my mind, Onward I will go, Once again I will love, And put on this show, My heart might be yours, But this moment is mine, You will never get true love, For you left it and me behind, This isn’t anger talking, Just a heart’s confession, Next chance I get, I won’t mess up, Cried many nights, And lost many dreams, But I won’t let you down, Take your lessons in stride, And hold my head up high, I see you being married, And jogging with a carriage, But I can’t bear to know that, So I leave you now, With no way to reach me, Hoping that only lessons Can teach me, To love someone again, More than just a friend. I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality. |
