What do I need to do? These pretty pictures turned another shade, they yawned in place and then they changed I can’t stand in yet another shade of blue While soft covered books helped only to prove The fact that I’ve been standing knee deep, waiting aimlessly amongst these blank sheets For a sign of contentment mirrored in crowds, For something tangible in insomnia's frowns All of which I must do. Within these walls of unread encyclopedias Lay the owl’s dreams of daylight and influences What cometh hither in my head of pencils and splinters Spills forth on untidy earth and only shivers Oh, to what end must I pick a mind aloud? To whom am I accountable for recourse unfounded? Pretty pink dealt this hand another blow, Seven or eight shrinks couldn’t breathe this slow One or two answers couldn’t be so proud Listen again, i'll read it aloud. |

"While soft covered books helped only to prove The fact that I’ve been standing knee deep, waiting aimlessly amongst these blank sheets For a sign of contentment mirrored in crowds," i liked this. Definitely different from the norm, but then again, thats what makes things good. Enjoyed. _keryn By the way, your hands are shaking... |
