Daily Heartbreak

I thought I was your everything
then I realized I was only part
everything was something you were to me
right until you broke my heart

Not once or twice, or even three or four
You broke it everyday
But every time it was different
You always did it in a different way

It started with another girl
And you made me feel second best
Even though you told me she meant nothing
I couldn’t put my mind to rest

Every time that I’m reminded
My heart breaks once again
I can’t help thinking it’s not over
and I wonder if it will ever end

I get more information
It gives me an excuse to be upset
But really it’s just the reminder
And the pain you still don’t get

It’s a memory I wish I could erase
And a pain I wish I couldn’t feel
It confuses me why I’m still so upset
It shouldn’t be that big of a deal

You ask if there’s anything you can do
To put my mind at ease
I can’t think of a single thing
And I wonder why I’m so hard to please

I realize I’m the one who can’t let go
And the pain is something I make
When my heart feels how it does each day
It’s me that’s causing it to break

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

i really enjoy this its exactly how i feel everyday.
