So, this is about Crystal, the girl that I like.  There's an age difference between us, so her dad wouldn't approve of us being together...  So basically we'll have to wait to be officially together.  This is about her...

WAITING

I can't get you off my mind
And even if I was able to...
     I don't think I would.
I'm not sure how it's possible
(But I thank God that it is)
That a girl as perfect as you
     Could love someone like me
Every day I spend in wait
Is closer to the last
I'm reassured by the thought that you --

aw this is cool, i like the length and the format of it. very simple, yet really heartfelt. i hope the situation works, and it's awesome that you're willing to wait for this girl, seems to me that it takes a real man to do that so i commend you. overall, very touching poem.
