Standing In Silence...

0 posted 2005-01-12 04:44 PM

Her world was ripped away,
Ripped right out of her arms.
Empty with nothing to hold on to,
No fairy-tale ending.
Trying to reach out,
But grasping only onto broken edges,
That cut straight into her heart,
And made her bleed the blood of sorrow.
Hanging onto what’s left,
Only to reveal there is nothing to be found.
She tiptoes around the misery,
And managed to tread off of the path of deception,
Only to find that Deception,
Has been following her all along.
It has been watching her every move,
Waiting patiently to cause pain & misfortune.
A breeze picks up and she looks up at the clouds,
“Why must you follow me?”
She cries into the wind.
But her cries were in vain,
And no sooner does she finish her sentence –
It slowly begins to rain….

This was written by myself, and two friends of mine who also are members here, they're names are SilentTears and PeachesNCream.
