what do you do when someone says the words to win you over,

and you are scared that it may have worked.

But then, what do you do to be sure of how you feel.

Scared,
Uncertain,
of not knowing yourself;
of getting hurt.

What do you do when you can't make them realize that it is you, not them.

past relationships still haunting you,
like salt in an open wound.

I think you know what you need to do deep down inside of you!! We all go through that but what is important in life is that we cannot dwell on the mistake or unfortunate relationships in our past. Trust your heart and do some things different seeing how its a new year!! Love ya always, Chris

Hmm... I think I agree with Chris on this one. I have a friend in a similar sittuation. I'm also in that sittuation. Letting past scars interfere with the process of moving on with life... it's a hard thing not to do. How do you let someone love you, and trust that it's real, when the last person you trusted with your heart tore it in pieces? I've asked myself this question many times in the past two months, and I've come to this conclusion: You just do. You let them in. I know, it dosen't feel that easy, but it really is. You just do it. Let them love you. And maybe then, you'll find the strength to break the fear, and love them back. I'm trying this right now, and as soon as I get the time, I'm going to tell her how I feel, and leave it as an open ended question. I know I waited a little to long, but if we're ever single and she's willing to give it a shot, I'm still here. Just trust your heart, it's the only truly faithful friend you have.

well i think im gonna " do some things different for the new year" and not trap myself and fall for the 3 words. im really sorry and not sure if its the right decision but...
