They say a broken heart
will always mend,
and rules were made
for us to bend,
and its been too long
far to long,
for me to even pretend.

Put your past behind you
and leave it there,
a rose without thorns
is extremely rare,
and its been too long,
far too long
for me to even care.

wish upon a star
and pretend it'll come true,
what's in the future
if only we knew,
and its been too long
far too long,
for me to even think about you.

Really good poem!

Venting and angry, but with style! Wish I could learn to feel this way. Would be a lot of help! Glad to read this one.
