All the things I held so dear
you tore them away
and I can see what you really mean
when you try to hide your eyes.
The truth was right in front of me
but the lies were so much more beautiful
I drank in every word you said
and told you I believed
It’s not that I was being deceived
you just aren’t who you seem.

Im fading into someone else
falling into darkness
reaching for a hand to hold
and losing grip on consciousness

too much time spent
trying to regain my confidence
and Im left with nothing again
I can never just be me.
Im laughing through my tears
as I turn away from you
the anger in your voice rings clear
but I no longer care what you think.
I try to drop this facade, but it clings
maybe the person I pretend to be is really who Iam.

Im fading into someone else
falling into darkness
reaching for a hand to hold
and losing grip on consciousness.

But Im comforted
by the fact that I can hurt inside
all I want to
without anyone ever knowing

I tried to think of a title to help ya out but they were all cliche. I'm not too good with titles. Sorry!

this is beautiful and im sure everyone knows what yyou meean.... and a title???? mabe fading..... not really sure on anything else...
