Texas.. and yes i have an accent

I stand up and open my eyes
and wish to you a short goodbye

Never forget me and come back please.
My love for you will never cease.

Next year I move out on my own.
I am hoping by then you will be back home.

For five years I have held you in my heart,
and now for five more you will depart.

You were always there for me and I for you;
no matter what we were going through.

Now I just sit alone writing poetry,
waiting for you to come back to me.
I love you Ryan.
