the oldest cliche, my newest obsession

I roll the windows down to dim the tint
into a lighter shade of midnight,
so the features of shadows shake into blurs.
The wind brings millions of unspoken words to my mind;
fortunately my skin has chilled to just above freezing,
rivaling my heart for the coldest summer record.
And right now i'm chafing my eyes,
those tears never seem to come out dry...

hmm...this one i had to read more than once...

It made me think about things (most of your poems do)

I really like this. I think i will save it.
