When you lose the love,
You were rejected from above,

Downwards I fall-
In depression’s hole,

Failing to comprehend
Another human being,

She cared so much,
But I gave her bluff,

I loved her blindly,
Not telling her these,

I refuse to give up,
When she gave up on me,

Eight stabs I gave her,
Each one in the heart,

She picked up the pieces,
And mended my heart,

But this time she left me,
Without a sign of hope,

I succumb to my insanity,
And have lost all hope,

I wait for a sign,
A star to wish upon,

So that I can wish for the past,
To be gone forevermore,

She is not coming back,
For the pain is too great,

I took what people die for,
And kill it with my own two hands,

Lord, there is no forgiveness I can get,
For my crime is too grim,

I took an angel’s heart,
And tore it apart,

My sense of love is not real,
My anger made it surreal,
I lost love that I once conceived,
This nightmare is a dream,
I hope to believe,

You gave me your love,
And I lost it all,

My sanity and my world
In turmoil.

This poem is written for my ex girlfriend.

I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality.
