remember the softness
when you touched my face
the warmth you felt
and how my lips taste

when you forget how to live
and your body grows colder
you've reached the end
the world's on your shoulders

remember the innocence
you saw in my eyes
the gentle touch
given only by I

when you regret all youve done
and youve given up the fight
youre alone and scared
nothing seems right

remember the damage
you cast on my heart
the tears falling down
when you tore me apart
