Home Is Where the Heart Is (Heartless Homeless) Is Daedalus the only liar in these sheets? Or does the mirrored reflection mistake me again. Am I the one who sends families to the streets? Or do those who have no home also have no hearts to mend. Thousands of Icarus' to breathe belief into And then watch them melt and fall on their own. "Only Lonely" is a way to fool those laughable few Who will fall into the mold I cast to become all my own. Poor old souls who love the cold press into tales Like a young man who recieves his first passionate french kiss. They find its delicious taste barely seems to pale When erect against that young lass' lips, lips full of lies to miss. Their broken hearts leave the worst impressions like frost laying upon the grass on an April morning. Their broken bodies lay strewn in opposing directions Blocking the music flowing from their mouths sending out a Warning. The lifeless brothers and sisters play Beside concrete sidewalks and cry no more from loss. All the love from their mothers couldn't stay A mouth that loves to lie about the heat from a burning cross. |
