I just wrote this last night... Porchlit Goodnights The meloncholy moon sings to the blue, But the sky's darkness applauds no one. I hear the beauty flittering in the wind And I wish upon unseen stars for all save one. A sigh from your lips replies to my kiss; Subtle flashes of moonbeams encore us on. You know the thought forming on my tongue So whisk it away with the most casual yawn. Once again I am caught in the repition of indecision, But grant me more wishes than stars above. Wait for tributes to pass before goodbyes exchange And the last brushes of skin push aside hesitant love. Don't say goodnight then... |
