...Your Mistake... I won't forget you, Your all I see, I can't forget you, Your part of me, I never thought it would hurt, I never thought I would cry, I never thought you would leave, The mistake was saying goodbye, Your not there anymore, But your everything I see, Every thought in my head, Is you reminding me, Every kiss that was so wrong, It's the only thing I feel, How did we let that go, When it all just seemed so real, Nothing makes any sense, Nothing without you there, Why did you start to doubt, Why are you so scared, What will happen now There are only memories, You took away all we had You took a part of me, You don't want me to hurt, You don't want me to cry, You said that I'd be happy Before you spoke you knew you lied, You promised you'd always be with me, Why do I feel so alone, You promised me nothings changed, I wish I would've known, What if you made a mistake, What if you were wrong, You knew I was always there You knew you had me all along, Why do I feel so empty, This day won't seem to end, Deep down I know your not happy, Does it hurt you to have to pretend, Take comfort in your security, It's the only thing you know, Hold on to the past and close your eyes, Lie to yourself and never let go... ((on the beach I remind myself That holding hands is so powerless Tonight I dont even have the stars to hold on to...)) ::A Static Lullaby:: I see me frowning in your eyes... |
