UNSEEN BEAUTY

I know you're blind,
you can't see.
Take my hand,
walk with me.

Over green grass,
under a sky of blue.
I know these colours
mean nothing to you.
I wish you could
see colours.

Fold your hands
as if in prayer.
Open the tips
there's a flower there.

Spread your arms,
imagine these,
layer on layer
create the trees.

Touch the trunk,
feel its size
spreading woody arms
to the sky.
I wish you could see trees.

I do hope that I have not posted this before. I keep a list but unfortunately it has disappeared along with my purse and that one sock.

This is very loving for the one this is written for. To be able to see color, and experience nature, that seems to be in question may be because of depression. It's a sweet thing you wish for this person to see color, and creation in all it's beauty again. Prayers will help so much! Lovely this is. Thanks for sharing!!!

Thank you Shararose, I feel so sorry for the poor people who have to depend on a white stick but I do know that some of them are very happy, puts one to shame, Maggie
