Crimson Leaf Crimson leaf Holding strong. Full of life It won’t be long… Until fall arrives. Chill aches leaf’s shell Now decayed With crusty skin. Tree’s living veins Are wearing thin. As like a knife Cut from the tree Leaf must fall. Support is gone With windy brawl. Swirling thrust- Lands swift and pained On pavement black. Encased in dread. Leaf can’t go back. Alone and dead. Wrote this and worked on it more after a good friend went back to using this week - almost 2 yrs clean-*sniff* ~P |

Thanks britt. I'm glad you enjoyed reading it - I write about the feelings, the things that happen to me in my life because it is a form of therapy for me, do you know what I mean? I think you do! |
