Their tears held within
Never letting you know
A kiss of hate
A silence bought
And yet they pay for love
With the rips in their flesh
The breaks in their bones
The damaged souls for a life
They cry out for mercy
While they lay there
Silent
Eyes dead to the world
Knowing Mommy won't believe
Trust gone to them
For know one cares at all

Does anyone really know what time it is?
Does anyone really care?
