Grace turns me away And Hell rejects me Purgatory doesn't want me So I'm left outside all With no where to turn No shoulder to cry on No hug to comfort me No more long nights talking And contemplating The meaning of this Journey That we've been put on With no map to guide us Treading long worn paths That lead to nowhere Everyone said its the Journey that counts But the Journey is getting tiring And I wish to rest Lay under the stars Or a glimpse of what my purpose is I thought it was to make people happy And yet I always hurt some Trying to please all I failed Not me But them. |

That's one helluva first post. You can spend your days pleasing others and your nights spackling over the hole in your heart and all you'll get is insomnia and some good poetry. And spackle everywhere. The only meaning we have in life is the meaning we give it. You don't have to figure out where you're going or where you'll end up. Just know where you are and where you want to go. The journey will take care of itself. Welcome to pip. You couldn't be in a better place to find your path. The soul is oftentimes a battlefield where reason and judgement wage war on passion and appetite. |
