I haven't been around for a while..I had a serious case of writers block and it wouldn't leave. So here's something fresh but a little rusty..

How dark it was down that path,
Dark with rusted blades.
Silent screams of those who lost;
Ones who live in the graves.
You almost had me,
I swear you did.
You almost dragged me down.

Sleepless nights and agonizing days,
I slowly lost my step.
Falling I was to my sullen abbys,
My dark labyrinth of blood and hate,
That dark labyrinth of sorrow.

You tried to pull me under,
you tried to mute my screams.
You took me by the hand as I
was just breaking free.
You wouldn't let go as I tried to escape,
You wouldn't let me live;
I was where you wanted me to be,
you werent' going to let me free.
