i stroll though the black of night,
watching the moon waver in and out of sight,
stepping in and out of shadow pools.

footsteps falling, but theyre only mine.
the solitude seems to slow down time,
and yet i still cant clear my head.

thoughts, feelings, strange emotions
mixed together with such fierce motions.
i cant control the outbursts anymore.

you whispered words ill never hear
they came to me so smooth and clear.
i just wish i hadnt imagined them.

i had put it all on the line,
on the thought that you were mine.
now its all at a dreary end.

why choose to live a life deffered?
end it all, end all of the hurt,
pain can only last so long.

the darkness settles amoung the trees
i look around and can almost see
the remnants of my broken soul.

the stars try their best to lighten the way
and i swear they seem to almost convey
some small form of sympathy.

nature seems to be on my side
but human kind loves to lie.
please let me forget all the hardships.

my thoughts linger upon the scent
of drying twigs and wonderment.
lets watch this place go up in flames.

cross my heart and hope to die
ill light a match and say goodbye.
things still dont make sense in the end.

Brilliant. Though hardships can haunt you, they do build you and make you stronger.
