Ice cold embers,
singe my frozen soul.

I look behind,
to see my future.

I hurt myself,
to get through the day.

And cry,
to get through the night.

Why Is it always,
about me?

See it.

The sun
is out.

Why do I see,
only darkness?

Why pick apart,
the things that matter?

Why not stop,
the heavy tread of time?

Only I can answer this.
